Despite the warm weather, I caught a cold… Our hosts, the MINDS, gave me a local remedy: Mindtrap Milk. It is a white liquid whose smell resembles donating a kidney to your partner who then cheats on you, and the taste resembles all the pain of finding out someone ate the leftovers you have been thinking about all day.

In the last weeks, we managed to visit more of the town. The speed with which they advance in construction is remarkable. Dr Phtephen found a blue gem on the bank of the river, but it turns out it isn’t that uncommon. We have also seen some fields and orchards on the outskirts of town. The MIND in charge there said we can have some whenever we wanted.

It seems like we are getting accepted and included more into their society — though that whole Mindtrap Milk business could be a threat. No, really, we have been running our research targets smoothly, sending regular reports and data and we even began discussing the Arena strategy with the MINDS. They seem open to a collaboration between us and them to act as Coaches.

Not all MINDS are happy with our presence here. There is one, in particular, that makes your hair raise on your back: Exarch Highbrow. He is the leader of the MINDS Security and Control, and also the Royal Leader of the Army. He has been never shy of showing us disdain. As long as we represent no threat, the Royals have allowed us to reside here and conduct our research.

We have not been granted any audience with the MIND… Majesty, but the MINDS all speak highly of their character and judgement. Being such cerebral beings, few things impress them more than unfailing logic and the unbiased truth speckled with kindness.

Oh yes, by the way the Whooves guarding the fields and orchards run a lot slower if their bellies are full of Moomoo Meat.
